About Common Silkpod

A robust climber with woody stems many metres long. Old specimens in rainforst develop thick, fantastically convoluted trunks. The juveniles are so different from the adults they appear to be a completely differnet species. The juveniles are miniature creepers with soft, tiny leaves, purple beneath.
